Find your way to Durango and meet your guide for the week. Head over the Molas Pass, stopping for photo ops along the way. Be sure to embrace the San Juan mountain range in all its beauty. After a welcome dinner, spend time getting to know one another around a fire pit roasting marshmallows. End the evening on the deck of your glamped out tent stargazing and enjoying the night sky. Start the morning bright and early hiking the Perimeter Trail. Stroll down Main Street's "Recreation Capitol of Colorado" and shop its unique stores. Take the afternoon to soak in the hot springs, finding rest and relaxation. End the day with dinner and night sky entertainment. Overnight outside of Ouray, Colorado. B, L, D

Today is your day to mine for gold! Take a tour and learn the history of a mine over 100 years old that helped to build some of the communities of the San Juan mountain range. Afterwards, take a short drive through the western slope of Colorado and into Utah where you will see breathtaking views of arches, canyons and so much more. Take a much needed break and fill your time as you please until dinner and then experience the night sky in all its majesty. Overnight near Moab, Utah. B, L, D

Take the morning to spend time in nature or with a guided yoga class. Then the rest of the day is yours to choose an adventure like white water rafting down the Colorado River, hiking trails in Arches National Park or four-wheeling across grand vistas. Something else you would like to do in nature's amusement park? Try ascending the skies in a hot air balloon, indulge your love of fishing or hit the trails on a mountain bike as a beginner or seasoned 2 wheeler. The cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde National Park is a must see due to its preservation and size and is considered a "wow" moment in the day's schedule. A short drive to a working ranch follows where you have free time to meet the animals, walk the property or enjoy the scenery. Overnight at Canyon of the Ancients Ranch. B, L, D

Experience the expansive ranch and vistas on horseback throughout the morning and then go on a tour of a nearby winery and enjoy lunch within their vineyard. The afternoon is free to help the owners in their garden, feed the animals that live on the ranch, or find a resting spot with a good book. Spend the evening at the farewell dinner with the group and stargaze one last time before leaving the Western skies. Overnight at Canyon of the Ancients Ranch. B, L, D

After breakfast, head back to Durango for departures.
