This is always a very difficult question for me to answer. The short answer – I am a multi-cultural, multi-faceted, multi-dimensional person. I was born in the UK to Indian parents, raised in Africa, lived in California until 2020 when I moved to Scotland and now, I live in Norway.
I own my own company called Sinha Consulting, AS and I work with clients globally. I am a successful project director, event producer, management consultant/strategist, group facilitator, and personal/business coach. My personal goal for my work is to create an energy of success, love and joy with all my clients and colleagues.
This year I received the inspiration to create Menopausitiva, a community where women can come together and explore what menopause means for them. Menopause is like a rite of passage, and we have the opportunity to approach it with as much grace and ease as we can during a time when our bodies, minds, emotions, and spirit are transforming. I needed to create this for myself, so I didn’t feel so alone on the journey, that I wasn’t just reading books or speaking with my male doctor who doesn’t really understand what I am going through. Yes, we need to take care of the physical body and explore what the hot flashes, brain fog, etc. need from us and we, also, need to focus on our spirit, mind, and emotions. All four areas along with the unconscious can assist us in co-creating a life that we WANT and ASPIRE to live!
My intention is that there be Menopausitiva Communities globally. In Bergen, Norway, we now have started the first Menopausitiva Community which meets monthly. During these sessions, I facilitate a conversation, a creative session, or a ritual to access our inner resources to assist us with the Menopause journey. I invite others in the group to co-lead in the areas that they are experts in – it is a collaborative community.
You might ask, how do I lead this community? I utilize the skills from my transformation toolkit, which is made up of my Masters in Spiritual Psychology, Neurolinguistic Programing certification, shamanism training, coaching/group facilitation skills and the various creative expression trainings I have completed. It is an unfolding process, and it is a joy to be on it with other women who are walking the journey!
To be clear, I am not a medical professional and I have no cures for the physical symptoms, but what I offer is a deep inner process of accessing your own knowing and facilitating a space where we learn from each other. Women have always done this, we have had circles where we speak, share, and support one another. Let’s do this together on the Woman’s Journey!
